| Vocare in the Diocese of West Texas 5.16.08- 5.18.08 Vocare weekends are restarting in the Diocese of West Texas and they could use some help in staffing. Here's a brief message from Teague: Vocare in the Diocese of West Texas is re-starting after a hiatus of a couple of years or so. The next one will be at Camp Capers, May 16th--18th, and Jackie Son (jacquelyn.son@gmail.com) is the rector. (Camp Capers is on FM 1621, near Waring, TX, NNW of San Antonio, off of IH-10 @ exit 527.) Jackie's looking for people who might want to help out, and I'm letting y'all know because (a) perhaps some of y'all might like (/feel called) to staff or attend, and/or (b) perhaps some of y'all are in positions to pass along such information (to others who would like or feel called to staff or attend). Day @ Schlitterbahn June 7, 2008 Vocare is heading to Schlitterbahn on Saturday, June 7th (June 14th is the alternate rain day) and you are invited! Come hang out with us at Schlitterbahn Galveston for a fun filled, sun filled day of fellowship. The park opens at 10 a.m., for anyone who wants to car pool we will meet at 8:45 a.m. at Christ Church Cathedral. We will return to Christ Church Cathedral by 9:30 p.m. Vocare will provide lunch. You must RSVP and pay by May 23rd. This is because tickets are cheaper when purchase in advance. You may pay your entry fee here through Paypal or by sending us a check in the amount of $30.30. If you do not RSVP or pay for your ticket in advance you are still welcome to join us, however you will be responsible for paying for your ticket at the door and full charges will be applied. Vocare @ The Flying Saucer On Saturday, September 6, we will be getting together at The Flying Saucer at 8 p.m. We will have a group meeting at both the location in Austin and the location Houston at the same time, making it easier for anyone that would be traveling.
